Pop of Orange

Hi guys! Hope all of you had a great weekend and Monday! JB and I spent the weekend at Milford Memories, had a barbecue/party at his sister’s house & saw The Gift. Needless to say it was a nice packed weekend and we bought wayyy to many food goodies like moonshine cakes, homemade salsas, and jerky lol! Anyway today’s post is on an outfit I wore out to the Hozier concert the other night. It was SUCH a good concert! I think he’s actually better live and we will be seeing him next time he’s in town 🙂 Now on to the outfit!

The LBD is a huge staple in any girl’s wardrobe and I feel like I have 15 but they are all different 😉 This one I bought 2 years ago from Victoria Secret in both black and white. Its THE perfect tank dress and can be dressed up or down – which you know I love! It’s a jersey material but also has spandex, so its stretchy but keeps its shape too & soooo lightweight!

Gold on gold on gold! I usually very rarely wear gold jewelry but I am having a moment with it, so I’m rolling with it. It started with these Gorjana earrings I found at the #NSALE last month which also made me buy the matching bracelet lol. The two sets of rings I have on are both stacking rings. The ones on my right were a gift from JB a couple of years ago and I just split them up between fingers for a cool look. My other rings were also from Nordstrom and I love how they are a little thicker. Lastly my lariat necklace is from the same designer of my silver one from these posts here & here. Cheapies are sometimes the best accessory and I mean that in the best way! I love scoring items dupes for items that I can’t say yes to and thats exactly the case with this beauty!

This bag is the whole reason for this post! This was one of my first Rebecca Minkoff crossbodys that made me fall hard for them! The burnt orange color is so cool and I love the pop it gives my otherwise monochromatic outfit. I love adding in a cool pop to outfits to give it more substance. My favorites are with bags and shoes because its a small pop and you can always feel comfortable.

I also added a jean vest just in case it got cold but also for some extra flair 😉 This one is by Guess and it’s my go to all year long. I love the wash and how soft it is.

Lastly, I wore sandals because the concert was at Meadowbrook Music Theatre and its all outside – which is so cool and I think I may even like it more than DTE lol. Anyway these will be making another appearance in an upcoming post so I’ll talk more about those then!

Have a great Tuesday & thanks for reading!
