Hi guys! I have a confession.. the last few months I’ve been loving a trend that I typically only keep with shoes. Right now I’m LOVING suede. In fact I may have purchased 2 suede dresses (one pictured below ;), a handbag, top, and a few pairs of shoes lol! It’s having a major moment right now in all aspects of fashion and its a trend that I am sticking with. A few weeks ago, JB and I went out for a nice date and I decided to finally wear this baby that has been sitting in my closet since March – thanks to the Revolve Clothing sale! Now on to the dress.. 🙂
I first saw this dress on a fellow blogger but in a longer cut. I immediately loved the style! As you can see its a high neck and cutout so clearly it was meant for me 😉 The long version is gorgeous too but short dresses are good for so many other occasions, so this made more sense in my opinion.
I want to be upfront that I did get this during a major sale a few months back after eyeing it for several months before that. It’s no longer available from where I purchased so I’ve linked to the only place I can find it along with two similar options for you guys 🙂
I’ve been having a moment with my current bracelet stacking situation. This has been my go to for the last few weeks when I want a little more bling but still want it to have an edgy vibe. The set is Alex + Ani & my pyramid stud cuff that I’ve posted on so many times before 🙂 My ring is from Cabo so I can’t give any details on that, sorry! Lastly these Gorjana hoops have also been on constant rotation in both silver and gold since I picked them up at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. They are the perfect size and I love the hammered look!
My shoes are the sandals I wore here! They are the Stuart Weitzman nudist and honestly there may not be a more perfect shoe out there. I also have these in black (there will be a post very soon with them 🙂 and hands down they are the most comfortable sandal I own. On every occasion I have been in them for several hours and felt great. Plus the way they elongate the leg is killer! I’ve linked a similar style by Steve Madden below that is also very comfortable and budget friendly!
Can we talk about that cutout for a minute?! I’d be lying if I didn’t say that shifted quite a few times but there’s always double sided tape to fix that issue 😉 I love how deep the cutout is and you can adjust the panels to expose more or less depending on your comfort level but they do move.. just a warning lol!
And because I realized at the last minute we did not get a picture of the coolest part of the dress we took this quick one of the back! It’s soooo gorgeous! It sits so beautifully and if you love showing your back off this dress is for you! Hope you guys enjoyed this post and have a great weekend! <3
