Date Night Style – Sequins & Blush

Happy Friday guys! I have a confession to share… this is my last post with my long hair(!).. at least until it grows back out 🙂 Most of you that follow me on Insta or know me in person know that I got my hair cut last month and to say its taken some getting used to. I may or may not have hoarded a few long hair outfit posts so that I could wait until it grew out a hair (no pun intended 😉 more lol! Anyway its safe to say that this is the last one and next week you will see exactly what it looked like the day of chopping it!

I shared a little peek at this outfit on my Instagram (here!) more than a couple of weeks ago 😉 We had a very little chill that week so I was happy to bust out a “longer” sleeve blouse for the occasion. This was of course for our date night – which JB got equally as dressed up for and let’s just say I don’t mind sitting across from a hot guy in a suit jacket 😉

There are a lot of aspects of style that I love – low/open backs, fringe, high neck tops, and also low cut tops. I think low cut tops when worn right are so incredibly sexy! I’m super picky about how my tops dip in the front but over the last year I’ve found some awesome pieces that fit my style and make me feel good. This top is one of those pieces! This is another Kora Rae top and I have to say that I am again impressed with the quality!

The cool thing about this top is that it’s another reversible one so you can have the low part in the front like I have or flip it around to show off your back as well! Sexy either way 😉 I love the blush color of the top and know that it will carry well from summer to fall and winter too. Disclaimer I did have to use a little bit of doubled sided tape to keep this baby in place but you’re good to go once it’s on 🙂

I wanted to use a similar color palate throughout because I love outfits that are all one color. I love the look of the blush and pewter together!

My earrings are my absolute go to hoop for every occasion. I’ve worn these casually, formally and every style in between. They are Michael Kors and they still have them here!

The star of the show is definitely this sequin skirt from Club Monaco. It was from last year and I JUST got around to breaking it out of my closet! The detailing is incredible, the pewter, gold, crystal beading is gorg! It’s also the perfect length to wear with heels, booties, and over the knee boots.

I have been obsessed with this clutch since JB’s mom got it for me for my birthday in August. It’s the absolute perfect color for so many outfits! Now I have to talk about these shoes! They are the Steve Madden ones I link to anytime I wear my Jimmy Choo’s. These are almost identical and so much more affordable and comfortable! Plus these come in so many cute colors too!

Hope you guys enjoyed this little fall transition look, details are below! The next time you’ll see me on here will be with the new cut! Hope you all have a great weekend!
