Flirty Fringe

Happy Monday you guys! Like I say every other Monday, I hope your weekend was fun 🙂  JB and I went to the cider mill on Friday before the rush of the weekend and indulged in a donut or two lol! We saw The Martian which was SO good & also watched MSU pull out a win against Michigan with a crazy ending! Go Green! So all in all it was a really good weekend lol!

On another note the weather here has me flip flopping like crazy! I don’t know if its been a weird 2 months where you live but we’ve had the fall chill here in MI on some days and other’s are a heatwave like a few weeks ago when I shot this look.

Now we are full on experiencing that fall chill and coming home from Cabo I am officially missing the warmth so I am sharing this look to remind me of warmer days 😉

I knew I wanted to fit this in before the fall chill became permanent and loved that I was able to! This is such a fun and flirty way to wear fringe – which as you know I’ve been lalaloving this season!

I kept the look super low key as I wanted to skirt to be the star and I love a black & white pairing so this fit the bill. It’s such an easy way to look pulled together and its casual with just enough flair 😉

These earrings are a special piece to me. JB got these for me along with two necklaces last year from a brand called Stella Valle. He saw them on Sharktank and knew they were a fit for me. He knows that I love edgy jewelry and these pieces are designed with a military look to them. Think dogtags, bullets, chains with an edgy girly flair – its super cool! These are such a different earring and they have a tiny bullet design on the bottom and have diamond studs at the top. I love how different they are and love the meaning behind them. They are called the Leader earring and the message is to Lead By Example. Every piece they have has a specific meaning and they are all pretty badass!

Of course I paired this with my matte Rebecca Minkoff crossbody – like I’ve said these are my go to bags and I love how this one has all black hardware. I also threw on my Cartier dupe bracelet which you know I’ve been wearing like crazy lately!

Now this belt is AMAZING! I saw this on a Youtube vlogger a year ago and searched high and low but all the stores were sold out of both styles they had available at that time. Flash forward a year I found this year’s version and I have to say I love it even more and it’s STILL available! It’s such a fun and funky piece to thrown on over so many things but I love it the most over a black skirt. The stud detail is awesome and the way this skirt moves is so cool!

These babies were getting as much as use as they could before they get put away until spring. I love how they elongate the leg and they are so comfortable too!

Basking in the indian summer heat!

I can’t wait to incorporate this into a fall look with some OTK boots and a streamlined sweater! Until then I’ll settle for heels and tank tops 😉 Hope you guys enjoyed this look!
