WINTER LOOKBOOK – BLACK OUT

Happy Saturday! Another week flew by here and I can’t believe it’s already the weekend! I am so excited because LE Clothing Co’s winter collection launched yesterday and it has been such a fun process for me working on those designs. I do have a couple of other things that are in the works (a guy’s zip-up 😉 just to name one!). So that has taken up the majority of my time lately! I actually haven’t even shopped for xmas yet… which obviously needs to happen like today lol!

Anywayyy I decided literally last week that I wanted to shoot a winter lookbook of some holiday styles that can be worn to  events, parties, get togethers’s that are happening these next two weeks. I wanted to do a little mix of causal, semi causal, and dressy for every occasion. Over the next few week’s I’ll be sharing some looks that I think anyone could rock! And I have a promise to make too! I know I keep saying that I have some recipes coming and I do! I just have to find the time to get them done, so starting January 1st I’ll be posting all of my recipes that I’ve been working on over the last few months ! So stay tuned 😉 Now on to the outfit!

This is one of my favorite outfits ever! Black on black on black on black is never a bad idea lol 😉

I felt that this is a super easy outfit to throw together for a family holiday party or for a day outing!

I have to first talk about this poncho. I JUST got this at TJMaxx for less than $25 and it’s BCBG! I saw this and snatched it right up because I’ve been looking for a black sweater and this worked perfectly! It’s SOOO warm and you could totally eat a ton of treats at a party and no one would know lol 😉 Besides the coziness it’s super flattering – I love the cowl neck and fringe!

This bag is one of my most used pieces in my closet. It was an investment piece but totally worth it. I prefer quality over quantity and I have to say that if you’re looking for a crossbody/clutch that will last forever this is your piece! I love how its a soft leather that has more movement to it, plus the chain is so badass and adds that little kick to any outfit.

Another piece that gets tons of use are my Paige coated jeans. I bought these a few years ago and wear them constantly during the winter. I know some coated denim either looses it’s shape or is superrr tight and these are right in the middle. They have enough stretch that you can run around and move but also hold their shape so you can wear them all day long! My favorite detail are the double zippers on the hip pocket. I love the edginess they add to the look!

Of course the look needs a killer boot or heel and these are my go to favorite heeled black boots! I got them last year from Sole Society and lived in them all last winter. They’re incredibly comfortable and the perfect height for dressing up or keeping it casual!

I wanted to keep the look simple because there is a lot going on between the poncho, pants, and bag so I added simple but edgy jewelry to compliment. My Stella Valle drop earrings are some of my favorites, especially when I go for a more darker look!

Loving all the details of this outfit! <3

I hope you enjoyed the first look of my lookbook! This is seriously such an easy outfit to throw together and it will make you look amazing – plus I’m sure you already have something similar in your closet you can throw together 🙂
