It’s Monday! Another weekend came and went, I swear December is literally flying by! Not to mention the weather has been crazy – but I’m not complaining as it was 64 the last two days! I finally got all my xmas shopping done too but I’m still not in a super festive mood yet! However I did get a chance a couple of weekends ago to go to another VOA event and that had me feeling a little more festive 🙂 Today I am sharing the look I wore there!
The event was hosted at The Henry in Dearborn and this was my first time there! It was so beautiful and I will definitely be going back to see more of it. It’s such a gorgeous hotel and I loved this hallway with all the art!
JB and I decided last minute that we were going to go and it was a masquerade party, which was another first for me! I was just a little bit excited to partake in a masquerade and we had a great time!
I wore this strapless asymmetrical dress from Intermix that I got at the beginning of summer! I’m telling you I have a problem with keeping things in my closet for a long time lol!
I love the icy blue color because it’s so different! Another plus is the material is so comfy! The asymmetrical hem is what really adds depth and pop to the dress. I’ve been loving asymmetrical hems on dresses lately! I think it adds a little drama and interest to an outfit. I may or may not be wearing one on New Year’s, I’m still on the hunt and undecided for that outfit 😉
I kept it super simple with that accessories because I wanted the dress and my mask of course to be the focal point. This necklace is actually part of the original Sutton necklace from Stella & Dot. I lalalove this necklace because it’s 5 in 1! I purchased this piece 3 years ago and have worn it countless times as all different variations but this was my first with the single statement piece. They have tons of different Sutton necklaces now and I think they are a total steal for how versatile they are!
Another favorite of mine – as you know if you’ve read my posts over the summer! These Stuart Weitzman are some of the best shoes I’ve invested in! However I do want to be honest this time they actually really hurt my feet which is odd because they’ve been perfect every other time! I know these can be a bit pricey so I’m also linking an almost identical dupe below from Steve Madden. I’m telling you these are so similar and Steve Madden has been killing it with reproductions of different brands for less – and you know I’m all about a deal 😉
Like I said in last weeks post I am trying to showcase this clutch in most of my holiday lookbook to show how versatile this is for tons of different looks! Also a little peek at my mask!
I added a simple black coat because it was actually cold this night 😛 This coat is so cozy and I love the length on it! It also had little leather details on the pockets and sleeves that add a little edge that I just love!
I hope you guys are getting festive and enjoying the holidays so far – hopefully you’re not too busy! I also hope you enjoyed this holiday glam look, I’m excited to share more holiday looks with you this week!
