Hey guys! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and holiday! It was definitely a different year for us with my dad out of town but it was still nice to see mine and JB’s family’s and enjoy the weekend!
I want to also wish everyone a Happy New Year as I am taking a little blogging break until after the first. It’s mine and JB’s anniversary (9 years!!) on the 1st so I am going to take time to enjoy that day with him. I’m very excited to share an upcoming post with you that is right in line with a fresh start for the new year! That should be up next week 🙂 I wish all of you a safe and fun new year and cheers to making 2016 even more extraordinary!
I’m also sharing an outfit post today 😉 this is one I wore a few weeks ago and loved how badass it was, enjoy!
I am a sucker for mixing leather jackets into any outfit I can and wanted to finally break these booties in that were from my October (!) favorites!
This leather jacket has been one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. I picked this up 3 or 4 years ago and its been a staple in my wardrobe ever since. I love this because even though its super lightweight its still warm. I love how it fits to the body and all the zipper hardware. Free people has had this in their line every fall/winter since I’ve gotten it and now it comes with a removable hood too! If you’re in the market for a cheaper leather thats super flattering I would grab this baby!
I wanted to keep my accessories extremely simple for this look. I purchased this collar necklace a few months back and its the perfect minimalist piece. I tried several earrings on it with it but my diamond studs (from JB <3) won out. I love doing such a simple jewelry look from time to time to just relax 🙂
These two items are two of my key pieces for this look! This skirt is amazinggg! I’ve been loving Naked Wardrobe since I found them over the summer. They have such awesome basic pieces with a flirty look to them and at great price points! This skirt is soooooo cozy and I love the longer length and ruching details. These booties are absolutely amazing as well! Like I said these in were in my October Faves and I’ve been wearing them a ton since then! They are so different with the cage look but with its mix of suede and rope details theres so much to love about these! PLUS some sizes are still available at Shopbop and they are ON SALE!
You know I love these bags and this one is a fave! the matte black is so perfect when you want to keep it simple! Plus love that zipper detail on the arm!
I love the polished look with a flair of badass that this look has! It was such a fun look and honestly I felt so good in it! We all deserve those outfits that make us feel good and should wear them proudly! <3
Cheers to the new year! Talk to you guys in 2016 🙂
