WEEKLY WORKOUTS – VACA EDITION

Happy Monday guys! I am so happy to be back on a regular blogging scedule! Last week was nuts getting back into the swing of things that I had no time at all to get posts done! This weekend was crazy busy too, I was working on an exciting collab coming soon to LE with the clothing store Evereve & it was also JB’s sisters baby shower which was so exciting! I can’t believe in just a few short months were going to have a niece or nephew – I’m calling niece by the way lol! So all in all it was a lot going on this last week and now I can finally get myself back on track! 

I wanted to share my workouts & meals while I’m on vacation with you guys! This was important for me because I got some questions on how I stay on track, do I induldge, or workout on vacation? So I thought I’d share what I did while I was gone! I stay pretty consisant with my diet whether I’m home or not – I do induldge with drinks & desert but not as much as I used to but I def enjoy 😉 and I workout everyday because I’m laying by the pool all day and need to do something lol! I will be totally honest with you too, the last week has been terrible! Workouts and diet has sucked majorly! So please know that I go through slumps too! I am however getting back on track tomorrow 🙂

I love our hotel’s gym – its small but in a good way and they have my most favorite type of machines – Techno Gym! I was SO excited to use those machines and I loved how I felt afterwards. The gym also has a ton of cardio equipment but I noticed they had a Curve treadmill – which is all manual. ITS FREAKING AMAZING! I ran every.single.day on it and man was I fatigued but I loved it sooooo much that I had to run! Now that is totally different for me as I will take a much wanted break from cardio that week I’m gone but I’m telling you the curve was calling my name! Anyway here’s what this week looked like: 

SATURDAY – REST & TRAVEL DAY! 

SUNDAY – CHEST, TRICEPS, CORE & CURVE

Circuit 1 

  • Chest Press on machine – 4 sets, 12 reps 
  • Burpees – 4 sets, 12 reps 
  • Wide pushups – 4 sets, 12 reps 
  • Standing tricep extension with free weight – 4 sets, 12 reps 

Circuit 2

  • Chest fly lying on bench – 4 sets, 12 reps 
  • Wide pulldown on machine – 4 sets, 12 reps 
  • Chest cross overs on TRX – 4 sets, 12 reps 

Circuit 3 

  • Tricep extension on cable machine – 4 sets, 12 reps 
  • Bench dips – 4 sets, 12 reps 

CORE

  • Crunches on machine – straight, left & right side – 3 sets, 20 reps 
  • Cable crossovers – lower & upper – 3 sets, 20 reps 
  • Side kettlebell crunches – 3 sets, 20 reps each side 
  • Bench kickups – 3 sets, 20 reps 

CURVE – DID PEAK 4

 

MONDAY – LEGS, BICEPS, GLUTES & CURVE

Circuit 1 

  • Leg press – 5 sets, 12 reps 
  • Leg Extension – 5 sets, 12 reps 
  • Leg curl – 5 sets, 12 reps 
  • Standing bicep curl –  5 sets, 12 reps 

Circuit 2 

  • Jump Squats – 4 sets, 12 reps 
  • Skater lunges – 4 sets, 12 reps each leg 
  • TRX pistol squats – 4 sets, 12 reps 
  • Kettlebell squats on bosu ball – 4 sets, 12 reps
  • TRX bicep curl – 4 sets, 12 reps  

Circuit 3 

  • Glute kickbacks on machine – 3 sets, 15 reps each leg 
  • Glute crossovers on machine – 3 sets, 15 reps each leg 
  • Adductor & Inductor on cable machine – 3 sets, 15 reps each leg 

CURVE – DID PEAK 4

 

TUESDAY – BACK, SHOULDERS, CORE & CURVE

Circuit 1 

  • Standing row in squat posistion on cable machine – 4 sets, 12 reps 
  • Shoulder press with free weight – 4 sets, 12 reps 
  • Some move on one of the machines I can’t remember lol! – 4 sets, 12 reps 
  • Lateral raise with free weight – 4 sets, 12 reps 

Circuit 2 

  • TRX T’s & Y’s – 4 sets, 12 reps 
  • Standing bent over row – 4 sets, 12 reps

Circuit 3 

  • Upright row on cable machine – 4 sets, 12 reps 
  • In front of body raise with free weight – 4 sets, 12 reps 

CURVE – DID PEAK 6

 

WEDNESDAY – CHEST, TRICEPS, CORE & CURVE

Same as Sunday 🙂 with Peak 6 

 

THURSDAY – LEGS, BICEPS, GLUTES & CURVE

Same as Monday 🙂 

 

FRIDAY – BACK, SHOULDERS & CURVE

Same as Tuesday with Peak 6 🙂 

 

SATURDAY – REST & TRAVEL DAY AGAIN 🙁 – so sad I had to leave!

SUNDAY

Breakfast was served daily at our resort and it was SO GOOD! We could make any kind of egg dish and there were tons of goodies! A little avo toast action with fruit & roasted veggies.
